Put on a kimono and play the shamisen to experience the feeling of being a maiko.
In Kyoto, the shamisen developed particularly alongside maiko culture and has been maintained as a part of traditional culture. Here, the teacher will first explain how to hold the strings and the correct posture, and then you can try playing a simple verse of a children's song, or split into groups and take turns playing together.
