Kyoto uchiwa fans are made by arranging thin bamboo ribs one by one in a radial pattern to create the fan surface, and then attaching a separately made handle later, and are also known as "Miyako uchiwa" or "Gosho uchiwa." Here, you can paint an original design on a Kyoto uchiwa under the guidance of an expert.
