"Ukiyo-e World" is an immersive experience that allows you to step into an ukiyo-e print set in a townhouse that has been spatially reimagined with ukiyo-e prints, while "Kyoto Play" allows you to learn about "Kyoto" and the mannerisms and language of Jidaigeki (period drama) through play while interacting with actors. These two experiences will invite you into the world of ukiyo-e and Kyoto.

Planning, script supervision, direction

He has also appeared as an actor in films and TV dramas (such as "Mito Komon" and "Ooka Echizen"). In 2010, he became a part-time lecturer at Bukkyo University and Kyoto Bunkyo Junior College, where he taught "Physical Expression (Practical Acting Theory)" for the past 10 years. Since 2018, he has been a lecturer at Toei Kyoto Toei Actors School. [He is dedicated to passing on the acting he learned as a theater company member to the younger generation as both an academic and practical tool.] He is currently the representative of Osada Juku. He mainly performs in his home base of Kyoto, but also performs in the Kinki region and throughout the country.
Why are Jidaigeki (period drama) attracting so much attention now? I believe the recent renovation of UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE was a sincere pursuit of this. Of course, there are many answers. But I think the main reason is that there is an abundance of authentic things there. And it is because it is the home of the Japanese people's hearts. With this in mind, we assisted with "Playing in the Capital of the Ukiyo-no-Kyo" (Playing in the Capital of the Ukiyo-no-Kyo). At "Playing in the Capital of the Ukiyo-no-Kyo," you will be welcomed by people who have left their hometowns and are working hard to reach the capital. We could not be more grateful that you have taken the trouble to visit our shop out of all the other shops. It is with this feeling that we welcome our customers. It is said that the dexterous hands of Japanese women were nurtured by playing the three major games of ojami, origami, and cat's cradle. "Please take a moment to relax and enjoy yourself in Kyoto, the capital of Edo period."
