Kagoan Fukuda, 7th generation of the ancient Sado (Japanese tea ceremony) Yabunouchi School of Sochikuan
Seventh generation of Shuchikuan Fukuda, head of the tea ceremony at Daishoji Temple in the former Kaga domain.
From a young age, he studied the tea ceremony under his grandfather, the previous head of the family, and made his debut at the age of three at a commemorative tea ceremony held at the Nishio family residence, a nationally important cultural property. Since then, he has continued to study the tea ceremony alongside his studies, and from high school onwards, he assisted in instructing the previous head of the family at the Suichikuan school. Upon graduating from university, he adopted the name "Chikuichi" and began his activities as the successor in earnest. In November 2017, he inherited Suichikuan. In February 2024, the name was changed to "Kagoan". He continues to pass on the beauty of the tea ceremony, which has been continuously inherited by a single father for approximately 250 years since the first generation Tobisai, to the present day.
