Ohayashi (Japanese festival music) is music used in a variety of traditional performing arts, including kabuki, vaudeville, rakugo, and festivals, and in Kyoto, Gion bayashi is particularly famous. Here, you can learn about Ohayashi (Japanese festival music) instruments such as small drums and taiko drums, try your hand at shouting and making sounds, and watch a teacher demonstrate the instruments.
