Akimasa Ueda
He holds a semi-professional position as a Shite (lead actor) in the Kanze school of Noh theater. Born in 1992 as the third son of Takuji Ueda, he studied under his father, Takuji Ueda, and his uncle, Takahiro Ueda.
In 1994, at the age of two, she made her stage debut. She has performed in over 50 plays, primarily as the shite (main character), including introductory pieces such as "Chitose," "Ishibashi," and "Ran," and has also participated in international exchanges, including overseas performances in France and India.
Furthermore, they have expanded their activities to various stages, including the "Harima Takigi Noh" performance commemorating the 150th anniversary of Hyogo Prefecture's administration and Noh performances at the international symposium "ICLC15".
Kaoru Yamada
Noh Shite (lead actor) of the Kanze school
Born in 1990. He developed an interest in Noh theater from a young age, and his participation in a local children's class led him to aspire to become a professional.
After enrolling in the Osaka Noh Training School in 2008, he studied under Bunzo Otsuki (Living National Treasure) in 2010. In the same year, he made his stage debut in the dance-drama "Tohosaku" and his Noh debut in "Kikujido". He graduated from the Osaka Noh Training School in 2015. In 2018, he was granted permission to become a semi-official branch of the Kanze school and became independent. He has performed "Chitose," "Ishibashi," and "Ran." He is based in Kansai and performs throughout Japan.
Graduated from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies, Department of English and American Studies. Resides in Shimamoto Town.
