Kyomai is a form of performing art that is still passed down today in the entertainment districts of Gion and other areas. Here, you can watch a demonstration by a teacher that will give you a feel for the atmosphere of Kyoto, starting with bowing, posture, and walking. You can also try dancing along while imitating the movements.
