    Kyoto is said to be the birthplace of Japanese movies. Uzumasa, which has come to be known as the Hollywood of Japan, is where UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE was born as Japan's first theme park where you can watch live filming.

Access

UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE is easily accessible from Kyoto city, and can be reached in about 30 minutes by train or bus from Kyoto Station or Arashiyama. It is also conveniently located within walking distance of the station.

Can I enjoy UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE even if I don't speak Japanese?
Yes, you will enjoy it.
The entire show, including costumes and wigs, is designed to give you a sense of Japanese culture.
You can also enjoy the traditional cultural experience even if you do not speak Japanese, as you can also do the traditional in a very Japanese-like town.
The map is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
Can children enjoy the shows at UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE?
Yes. Especially the ninja show offers plenty of action for your enjoyment.
Is it easy to use for people with disabilities?
Yes, UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE provides the following services for people with disabilities and those with physical disabilities.

Will the show be held even if it rains?
Yes, outdoor shows may be held at different locations.
There are also other shows that are held indoors, such as the Ninja Show.
However, depending on the situation, outdoor shows may be canceled.
What is near UZUMASA KYOTO VILLAGE?
A five-minute walk away is Koryuji Temple, Kyoto's oldest temple, which displays the first Buddhist statue registered as a National Treasure.
Additionally, the popular tourist spot "Arashiyama" is about 10 minutes away by train.
Can I purchase tickets on the day?
Yes, you can purchase tickets on the day, but we recommend purchasing in advance to ensure smooth entry.
What time is the last entrance?
It is 7pm. However, Satsueisho Entrance is closed.
Do you have a vegan menu?
We offer bean curry at Ajikakushi.

The realistic scenery of Kyoto was created by staff at Toei Studios Kyoto / Toei Kyoto Studios, which produces Jidaigeki (period drama).
Other attractions include the Bukeyashiki (Samurai Residence) that is reminiscent of the Edo period and an arched bridge.
